Walk in Garden

The Garden stretched far, with a vine-covered wall and a roof of sun. Beyond the humble gate lies a chaos of color and bloom, interlaced with fragrance and sorcery. “Come—be enchanted!” beckon the lilac and iris, as the lilies stare and the wild roses offer their gentle touch to your fingertips. The dance of the butterflies will entrance your eyes, the song of the bees tingle your ears. Or so I’ve been told.

She is the gate-keeper, and the garden is hers. If you are lucky, and she wishes to share her refuge, you will find her by the gate, framed in fragrant twilight. She loves to walk in her garden in the evening, when the breeze and trees confer.
